What this site collects

Short version: if you ask for a beta invite, we keep your email address so we can send you one. That's the only thing this website collects, and there is no tracking of any kind on it.
There is no analytics on this site
No analytics platform, no cookies, no advertising pixel, no tag manager, no session recording, no A/B testing tool, no embedded social widgets. This site sets nothing in your browser and reports your visit to nobody.
The one exception to "reports nothing" is that pages load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google's font servers see the request. No cookie is set by it. It's there so this site's type matches the app's exactly.
If you fill in the waitlist form
We store what you typed:
- Your email address — required, because it's the only way to send an invite.
- Your first name, if you gave one.
- What you sleep in and where you're at, if you chose them. These shape which spots are worth showing you.
- Anything you wrote in the note field.
- A short source label — either the word "landing", or the
?ref=value from the link you followed. It identifies the link, not you.
We don't record your IP address, and we don't store anything that could stand in for one.
What we do with it
Two emails, at most: one confirming you're on the list, and one when there's an invite. Nothing else goes to that address. It is not sold, rented, shared, published, or used to advertise to you anywhere.
Getting taken off the list
Reply to any email we send, or write to hello@roadwild.org, and your row is deleted. You don't have to give a reason and we won't ask for one.
Who else handles this
- Netlify hosts this marketing site, and like any web host processes the requests needed to serve you a page.
- Base44 hosts the Road Wild app at app.roadwild.org, including the function that receives this form and the database the waitlist is stored in.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces, as described above.
The app is a separate document
This page is about this website. Once you have an account, what Road Wild collects and does is covered by the full Road Wild privacy policy at app.roadwild.org/privacy. If the two ever disagree, the full policy is the one that governs the service.
